Good morning, Camden County. Voorhees has the busiest week: a Wawa site plan and an apartment project go to its Planning Board Wednesday, and the Township Committee takes up three traffic and property ordinances tonight. Cherry Hill, Camden City and Gloucester Township also meet. Last week, Collingswood had backyard hens and a water tower redeveloper on its agenda, and Lawnside asked its Planning Board to look at data centers. Agendas can change, so check each meeting page for the official documents.

The Township Council meets Tuesday, Oct. 13 (caucus 7 p.m., meeting 7:30 p.m.). Ordinance 2026-14 is up for second reading. It amends Chapter 10, the township's on-street traffic rules. Resolutions cover buying a new public works jetter truck, joining cooperative pricing for road salt, granting easements to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and charging property owners for maintenance costs.

The Zoning Board meets Thursday, Oct. 15 on two residential matters: a patio and gazebo on Balfield Terrace and a resolution on a 6-foot vinyl fence on Ostrov Court.

Camden City: camping, food distribution and warming centers

The City Council meets Tuesday, Oct. 13. The posted packet lists ordinances on fire prevention rules, outdoor food distribution and unlawful camping. It also lists emergency procurements for demolition services, grants for local businesses, contracts for emergency warming center services and reappointments to the Anti-Bullying Advisory Board.

Gloucester Township: tax relief for disabled veterans

The Township Council meets Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. A Coaches Appreciation presentation opens the meeting. After that come resolutions granting tax credits and exemptions to disabled veterans for 2024 through 2026, and authorization to advertise bids for a snow removal program and a traffic signal project. The Zoning Board meets the same night. It will hear 351 Landing Road LLC's request for a D variance and minor site plan to add 1,800 square feet to a commercial/industrial building at 351 Landing Road. It will also hear a second-floor addition on Charter Oak. The Planning Board's Oct. 13 meeting is canceled.

Looking ahead: a flex warehouse in Pennsauken

Pennsauken's Zoning Board agenda for Oct. 21 is already posted. It includes Mark A. Rinaldi's request for a bifurcated use variance to redevelop a North Crescent Boulevard site as a 24,000-square-foot flex warehouse. Gates Realty Corp.'s plan for two flex buildings on Derousse Avenue has been postponed and must be re-noticed.

Decisions behind

Most of these are drawn from posted agendas because final minutes aren't out yet. Treat them as what came before each board.

Collingswood: backyard hens and a Water Tower redeveloper

The Oct. 5 commissioners' agenda had public hearings on Ordinance 1841, which would let residents keep backyard hens under new rules, and Ordinance 1840, which would allow coin-operated games. Three ordinances were up for first reading: 1842 (emergency snow routes), 1843 (a property acquisition) and 1844 (an amendment to a recreation bond). A resolution named the Walters Group redeveloper of the Water Tower Redevelopment Project. The next meeting is Nov. 2.

Lawnside: data centers and a storm sewer fix

On Oct. 7 the Borough Council's agenda included a resolution asking the Planning Board to review land use rules for data centers. It also listed an emergency contract (Resolution 88-2026) for storm sewer and curb repairs on Bryant Avenue, and the introduction of Ordinance 08-2026 on salaries for borough officials and employees. On Sept. 30 the council held the hearing on its 2026 municipal budget.

Haddonfield: stop signs, Safe Routes and Halloween hours

The commissioners' Oct. 5 work session covered code changes for through streets, stop intersections and multi-way stops (Chapter 232), a Safe Routes to School grant, signs for nonprofits, a request from HOST about Tatem Gardens, and Halloween hours. The next public meeting is Oct. 26.

Cherry Hill: a 7 Brew on Route 38 and a Subaru dealership

The Planning Board's Oct. 5 agenda had G7B II LLC's plan for a 510-square-foot 7 Brew coffee stand with two drive-through lanes at 800 Route 38. It also had a resolution on Subaru of America's amended site plan for a new dealership at 2235 Route 70 West.

Pennsauken: an indoor electric go-kart track

Pennsauken's Zoning Board agenda for Oct. 7 included Peter Loikits's request for a use variance and site plan waiver to run an indoor electric go-kart facility, along with an accessory dwelling unit request and several home expansions. A day earlier, the Planning Board had a plan for a two-story building with a shop downstairs and apartments upstairs at 7340 Maple Avenue.
