This Week at Town Hall: Sparta Zoning Applications, Fredon Ordinances, and a Highlands Assessment

Wednesday, September 9

Sparta Zoning Board of Adjustment. Two applications are on the agenda: ZBA #07-26, Sparta 15 LLC, and ZBA #08-26, Richard Miner. Zoning board hearings are where variances get granted or denied, which makes them the meetings most likely to change what gets built next door to somebody. Both are public hearings.

Looking ahead — Monday, September 14

Hardyston Joint Land Use Board will review resolutions involving Aqua New Jersey, Inc. and Wits End Associates. Aqua New Jersey is the regulated water utility serving parts of the township, so anything the land use board does involving it is worth a look.

Sparta Planning Board met September 2 and held a public hearing on the Advisory Hearing Highlands Council Initial Assessment, along with resolutions and updates from town committees.
